Supa Dam

Supa dam is the 4th biggest dam in Karnataka . if you visit dandeli don't miss to see the supa dam view from ganesh gudi bridge . The dam is located 20 km away from dandeli the supa dam is built across kali nadi The power house was commissioned in 1985. The supa dam has been build by Hindustan Steel Works Construction Limited (HSCL) and is now operated by Karnataka Power Corporation Limited

Backwater Dandeli

This is an ideal place to see the sunset.A beautiful and serene place a few km from Dandeli. The road from Dandeli to this dam is very scenic. The Backwaters of Supa Dam is Asia's second largest dam. Beautiful place to wander in the western ghats region in Dandeli. The dam is too large and backwaters have different kinds of vegetation. One can explore the beauty of it and is also good for students of life sciences to explore different plants of that region

Syntheri Rock

Syntheri Rocks is situated right inside the Kali Tiger Reserve It is 3 km from the main entrance,You can hear a lot of bird chirping on the way. It's one of the best sightseeing places near Dandeli. It's a big rock under which a big cave around 1/2 kms in which water flows. During British time it was named as Syntheri Rock place is open round the year. You can notice different kinds of rocks which are put along the way.Specimens of different type of rocks of geologic importance are displayed on the side of the stair pathway that leads to the syntheri rock site You have to walk for around 5 minutes One has to climb down app 200-250 stairs from the parking area to witness this unique beauty.

This place is Dandakaranya Eco park, you can see popular Disney , comic and cartoon characters statues with their descriptions.. you will have a good time here if you are a fan of cartoons.. There are statues of Charlie Chaplin and few marvel characters too.. There is a play area where kids can play, and there are benches and other structures for other people to sit and spend time..The park is located at the entrance of the Dandakaranya road, off the JN Road. Entry fee is Rs 20/person. Opens at 9.30 in the morning and closes at 6 in the evening.
