Best Time to Visit in Dandeli

• Dandeli is enjoyable for everyone, which means there is something that everyone would enjoy here. It is full of wildlife and adventures, so know what you can enjoy here. For every location, there is a good and a better time to visit and Dandeli is no different. Dandeli is perfect to enjoy during the winter as well as the summer since the temperatures are lower. Monsoons are not the best time to visit due to the intense amount of rain that the area normally receives.
• Summer (April to June) – This is the hottest part of the year and most people avoid coming during this time. However, if you are looking for great prices, then this is the ideal time to come and visit. You can enjoy temperatures around 33 degrees, which is perfect for river rafting and hiking to Shiroli peak where you can go mountain biking or rock climbing. This is also an ideal time to spot some of the bird species that live in this area.
• Monsoon (July to September) – This is the time when most people avoid coming to the area since it receives a high amount of rain and can put a damper on going out. However, if you manage to get a few days without rain this is the ideal time to commune with nature at the nature park, caves and some trekking in the nearby peaks.
• Winter (October to March) – This is the best time to visit the area since the weather is perfect and it normally hovers around 20 degrees. You can go enjoy the local markets for shopping or even go to the Kulgi Nature Camp to try to scope out the wildlife. You can also visit the Kavala Caves during this season. Some other good locations to visit include Syntheri rocks, Ulvi Temple, Supa Dam and the Anshi Tiger Reserve, which is also called Anshi National Park.
